Alex Browning, FCPA, FCMA, MBA. M.Ed. Corporate Director and Educator. Retired from LCBO, a multi-billion dollar liquor distributor and retailer, after almost 38 years. He has experience in retail, systems, and planning, and for the last 20 years, he was the senior vice president of finance and administration and CFO. During this time, he actively led the re-engineering of their supply chain functions, developed their enterprise risk management system, and modernized many of the business processes using technology.
Alex also taught business at York University’s Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies in the Bachelor of Commerce program. He is a Fellow of the Certified Professional Accountants (FCPA) and a Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants (FCMA). He also has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, a Master of Education from Brock University and a Bachelor of Commerce from York University.
He currently serves on the boards of two NFP boards, 211 Ontario and Meal-a-Day Fund of Canada. He is a past member of the Board of the Members Savings Credit Union as well as the Chair of the Audit Committee. He is a former chair of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario (CMAO) and a past member of the Public Accountants Council of Ontario.
Sue Craig is a Board Director and Senior Executive with a strong track record in leading business and digital transformation initiatives for highly regulated organizations in both the Financial Services and Government sectors. At Westpac, she was the accountable Executive for delivering Transformation Capability Uplift across the Group as part of the Bank’s response to the Royal Commission into Banking.
Sue also serves as a Statutory Officer and Board Member of the NSW Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority. She is a Non-Executive Director for national aged care provider McLean Care and its commercial subsidiary, DUART Industries. Additionally, she is part of the Faculty at the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), where she facilitates the Company Directors Course, and is a Lecturer in Digital Transformation at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
Filip Hendrickx is the President of the IIBA Brussels Chapter, where he actively fosters the business analysis community in Belgium and Luxembourg. He has been recognized for his contributions with the 2022 and 2024 IIBA EMEA Region Volunteer of the Year Awards. In addition to his volunteer work, Filip serves as a Visiting Professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he contributes to the advancement of information systems strategy and management.
He brings extensive experience in strategic business analysis, innovation, and enterprise architecture. Filip has led and coached business architecture and transformation initiatives across multiple industries, integrating lean startup methodologies, customer validation, and self-organizing teams to improve business performance.
Russell Mears is an experienced business analysis leader, currently serving as Head of Business Analysis for Enabling Units IT at AstraZeneca. In this role, he leads business analysis efforts across HR, Legal, Global Sustainability, and Corporate Affairs, driving digital transformation and platform integration.
He has a broad background in financial services and IT, having delivered high-impact transformation projects at organizations including Equiniti, PwC, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers. His areas of specialization include regulatory compliance, process automation, CRM transformation, and large-scale outsourcing initiatives across global locations.
Robert Moreau led New Brunswick’s largest Francophone financial institution, overseeing a team of 1,000 employees and serving more than 180,000 members and clients.
A certified board administrator, Robert is recognized by his peers for his strategic insight and valuable contributions to various boards and associations. He currently serves as Vice-Chairperson of the Board and Chairperson of the Human Resources Committee for the Co-operators. He is bilingual.

An IIBA member in good standing on the day of the AGM is eligible to vote. If you are unable to attend the webcast you may still cast your vote through our online polling site, which is available for 48 hours following the close of the AGM.

The AGM provides IIBA the opportunity to report back to the Members with an update of the key activities of the association. As well, during the AGM we will ask for ratification of resolutions requiring Membership support and present the previous years' audited financial statements.
To ensure quorum is achieved, IIBA encourages all active members to attend the AGM webcast.
Voting will be conducted on a secure voting platform managed by IIBA. You will receive a voting email with a link within 30 minutes following the close of the AGM webcast.
Voting will be open for 48 hours after the close of the AGM. If you do not receive an email to vote and are a Member in good standing, please contact info@iiba.org.
You are only permitted one vote for each resolution on the ballot.
Following the AGM, a membership vote is held for 48-hour period. In 2025, members will be asked to vote on the following resolutions:
Elect one returning director and four new directors as recommended.
Approve the reappointment of Doane Grant Thornton as Auditor for the fiscal year 2025.
Accept the Audited Financial Statements of IIBA for the fiscal year 2024.
Approve the Bylaw No. 8 as presented and enacted by the Board of Directors on January 29, 2025, and ask that all previous Bylaws be repealed.
Members who wish to appoint a proxyholder are requested to date, digitally sign and return the Proxy form.
